The Skeptic comes of age

Special offer – beat the price increase!

PLEASE NOTE: The special offer has now expired. The standard subscription rates now apply and can be found here.

Why a special offer?

The next issue of the Skeptic, 21.4, marks an important milestone in the publication’s history. We have now been producing the magazine for no less than 21 years. To mark this achievement, we have for some time been planning a major revamp of your favourite British sceptical publication (okay, we know there is not much competition!).

As from issue 22.1, you will get 40 pages in each copy – an increase in size of more than 40%! What is more, you will be getting some new and exciting regular columnists, new cartoons, and a regular celebrity sceptic interview (starting with the Amazing Randi himself!) in addition to all your old favourite features. We hope you like the new look and would, as ever, appreciate your comments.

Unfortunately, this is going to entail an increase in subscription rates, our first price increase since 1998. UK subscribers will have to pay £20 per year for four issues from now on and the rest of the world will have to pay £24. That’s a 33% increase in cost for an increase in content of more than 40%, so we hope you will agree that the magazine in still extremely good value (full details of the new rates can be found on the back cover). We look forward to the next 21 years and beyond!
