Loch Ness mess

Dear Sirs and Madams, Just a comment on the Loch Ness mess...my grandparents were born on the shores of Loch Ness and did a fair spate of growing up there. I don't recall them ever mentioning anything about a monster (or otherwise)inhabiting the loch!
