new skeptic site

Postby RuthAnthonyGardner » 22 May 2006, 20:43

I invite members of The Skeptic Forum to visit our site http://www.skepticreligion.org. We're just starting up and are looking for contributors who have stories about unusual experiences that they explain with reason and science instead of parapsychology or religion. Short videos of such stories can be an invaluable resource to others struggling to cope with the strange in their lives.

From Yahoo groups (here):-

Dear SkepticReligion group members, I've cancelled the SkepticReligion website. After reading "Impact from the Deep" in the October issue of Scientific American, I've decided to direct my creative energies to slowing Global Warming. If the new science paradigm is correct, human extinction in 200 years takes precedence over many other interesting endeavors. Thanks for your support. Ruth

Seems like a case of someone who believes we can only tackle problems one at a time, so until the environment is absolutely perfect we have no business dealing will irrelevancies like religious intolerance.
I am therefore I think

Ah well. There's a perfectly good magazine (and forum) here where people can post their rational explanations of unusual events. (Or a link to a youtube video.)
