The reason I'm mad as hell at conventional "medicine" is that I actually beleived in it until a few months ago.
It all started 6-7 years ago when I took Accutane for acne, the drug gave me Crohn's disease (there are thons of class action lawsuits for this reason, and Crohn's disease is now listed as a "side effect" of Accutane) which I was told is "incurable", and I was told I had to be on chemotherapy for life, I was 17 at the time. I beleived the doctors and was on low dose chemo (lower doses than for cancer) for the past 6 years. I then learnt there are far more effective ways to treat Crohn's disease (and most diseases) than drugs. There is a diet that cures the disease in 95% of cases, why is no doctor even aware of this? Simple, because it's not profitable, what's profitable is to let the patient suffer the rest of their lifes while selling them $1000/month drugs that cause cancer, encuring them another $300 000 to treat the cancer once you get it. This is nothing else than criminal beyond beleif, and if you support these terrorists you need to wake up and learn what they're really doing.
Anyway, this is a self-correcting problem, because people that are gullible enough to think that taking poisonous deadly chemicals (drugs) can treat diseases better than a proper diet that eliminates the cause of the disease will all end up killed by the drugs and only the people using real medecine, that is diet changes, lifestyle changes and natural products will survive.
Numbers don't lie, the statistics clearly show conventionel medecine in general is the #1 cause of death in USA and properly used prescription drugs are the #4 cause of death, and some people call this medecine!?! It's terrorism, not medecine.

Please direct me to where I can see the "thousands" of studies that have shown Echinacea to be effective. :lol:

Why else would people be buying so much Echinacea if it's only known/proven purpose is to provide a temporary immune system boost? It doesn't have any other purpose, so they obviously are buying it to boost their immune system.
And unfortunately you are living in a fantasy world, the real world is this:
Almost every disease is easily curable using diet change and natural products, there have been proven cures for cancer for at least 60 years, the drug companies which are making 1-2 trillion a year are brainwashing you gullible minds into thinking drugs are the only option. You're diseases are being used and prolonged to turn your bodies into money making machines for drug companies, and you're being killed at 784 000 people a year, the equivalent of september 11th happening every single day, every year, all the time.
If you'd rather live in your little magical fantasy land where drug companies actually care about your health (hahahaha, that's hilarious, or actually sad, if you beleive that) that's fine, but the real world is what I described above. If you're too afraid to accept that you're being used by big corporations that's your problem, but you won't change this screwed up world if you're stuck in your fantasy land.
Another great question, if conventional medicine works so well as you seem to beleive, why is it that today, in 2006, there is still not a single cure for any disease? That's because there have been cures for a long time, but cures aren't profitable, treatments are. Also, why is it that now 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women have cancer? This is a cancer epidemic, the reason cancer has been on the rise non-stop is that they are making hundreds of billions or trillions per year, so if you people are actually gullible enough to think these people are thinking "We must find a cure for cancer as soon as possible and end out $100 Trillion/year profits!" then again I eel really sorry for you, they absolutely do not want a cure for cancer, because there are already 18 scientifically proven cures for cancer, but it would be an economic disaster if they were known by everyone, but the truth is spreading rapidally, do you really think those who have been cured of their cancer using these alternative methods aren't spreading the word? Oh no, you're actually gullible enough to believe that trillion dollar business profiting from cancer.

A good example was the boy who died in Australia of blood poisoning after receiving "alternative therapy". If he'd gone to a doctor he'd have been given antibiotics that would have cured him in a week.
