Weird Science tonight at the Lamb - and Perspectives on Prayer in Cheltenham on Sunday
Date:
June 13th 2012
Hi All,
Final reminder for tonight's talk - for any of you that haven't already seen it yet(!), I'll be doing my introductory lecture on anomalistic psychology for Science London tonight, starting at 7 pm at the Lamb, 92 Lambs Conduit Street, London WC1N 3LZ. Come to think of it, come along even if you have seen it before - it'd be nice to see you!

This Sunday, 17 June, at 6:30 pm, I'll be taking part in a panel discussion of "What happens when you pray?" at the Cheltenham Science Festival:
"Whether you are a believer or not, you can't deny that prayer is a powerful thing. Its effects can be calming, euphoric, motivating or even just reassuring. It allows believers to feel closer to their God, to feel that someone is listening and cares. Rev Richard Coles is joined by psychologist Chris French and author and former priest Mark Vernon to discuss the power of prayer from a spiritual, philosophical and scientific perspective."

Chris
